The success story of "Karl Kemper" began over forty years ago with a classic of the German kitchen, the cabbage roulade. KARL KEMPER produces the cabbage roulade as a frozen convenience product for the canteen kitchen and has grown into a leading brand for classic and, at the same time, modern meat consumption. Karl Kemper of Borken realised the great potential of frozen food and began as one of the first convenience pioneers to wrap cabbage - plentiful available in the southern MÃ¼nsterland (a German region around MÃ¼nster) - around spicy minced meat. A large number of other product categories have long since been established around the cabbage roulade. This was followed by meat roulades, peppers, minced meat, sausage and poultry specialties. Today the brand stands for careful craftsmanship, combined with advanced and gentle production technology which guarantees first-class product quality. The approx. 170 products are produced in different levels of convenience making life easier for the chef, more varied and more tasty. Long-term supply relationships with suppliers of raw materials create mutual trust ensuring a consistently high quality and seamless traceability.
Carefully selected ingredients are the basis of all VEGETA products. We attach particular importance to the use of seasonal ingredients, mainly of regional origin. Short transport routes and careful processing ensure that the taste of the raw materials is preserved.
